Service Provider Phone Promotions
Getting the best value for your money
If you
go to any major
telecom provider's website, you'll find dozens of phone promotions
aimed at enticing new subscribers.
The
good news is that
many of these promotions apply to existing customers. The bad
news is that your service provider probably won't proactively tell you
all the phone promotions you're eligible for.
All service providers are required to
file promotions with the state
utility agency (a.k.a. PUC or RA). You can find current
promotions by weeding through the documentation to find out what you
are eligible for.
An easier way to find out what promotions you're eligible for is simply
to call your service provider's customer service number. Ask them if there are any current
promotions you can benefit from. They will almost always let you
take advantage of a promotion as long as you sign a new agreement.
